One of the most revered human beings to have ever walked the face of the planet consistently seems to be portrayed in an overly solemn and anguished manner. An honest depiction of Abraham Lincoln's wit, humor and immense intellect is rarely seen in the sculptural depictions so prevalent in America today. I think it is time to rethink our image of him.
As an artist specializing in bronze portraiture, I strive to the best of my abilities try to show the true essence of the person I am sculpting. This year through a personal journey into a rediscovery of Abraham Lincoln I have found that for me, the distinguishing feature of his personality that I think worthy of a bronze depiction is consistently his humor and personable side.
Now, 200 years after his birth, I am offering not only a straightforward, candid depiction of this great American, but also an affordable means for acknowledging our immense debt to him.
Standing over 7 foot tall, this cast bronze bust on a stone base, will become not only a focal point for years to come, but also a valued and integral addition to your Bicentennial celebration.
It is my hope during this time of Lincoln's Bicentennial, to not only celebrate his life and accomplishments with you through this unique bust, but to also provide a means to strengthen your community by creating a sense of connection and identity to the Lincoln legacy.
